Either find a girl who brings it out, or find a way to bring it out in yourself.
It can be hard to be funny when you’re nervous or apprehensive so raising your confidence and being comfortable can help, a cup of coffee never hurt either.

lostliberation asked: When I talk to a girl, any girl, things don't seem to work well. A lot of the time the conversation goes dead or it becomes extremely awkward. It's always bothered me that no matter what I do, I can't hold a conversation with a girl I'm interested in. Very few times (twice to be exact) have I been able to comfortably connect with a girl through conversations. How do I fix this? This could be caused by a few things. Some people you meet just wont have a connection to you and after a short time talking you’ll both be bored. This isn’t your fault it’s just a sign you’re not compatible personalities. If you’re looking to be interesting to talk to then what you need to do is find your confidence. You are extremely interesting to the right people, and the right people should be interesting to you. Find something they like and you want to hear about and let them tell you about it. Remember you’re confident and intrigued, not desperate for conversation. Your attention is gold and she should keep yours peeked. If you lose interest in the topic or you see she isn’t interested in yours, change the subject. I find with girls especially, listening is almost always more rewarding. You can pick up her nuances and find out if she’s worth your time with small talk. I was never good at making conversation so I got good at it by making small talk with strangers every chance I get. You learn some things about what people like to hear and how to get them talking that way. |
If you leave people hate mail - even worse, anonymously - unfollow me now. You are the worst kind of person, I already don’t care for you in the least.
What if my intentions aren’t friendly and you all just never bothered to ask?
Death is such an attractive thought. No loose ends, so clean and finished. Well done universe, well done indeed.
